Turtle shield.
Turtle shield.
Last meal in Tuol Sleng. This turtle shield was found in Tuol Sleng, a concentration camp in Phnom Penh, Cambodja. I was there at the end of the Khmer Rouge reign. A system that killed more then one third of the population. This shield represents hope. Every system however cruel one day will end.
